PIGMENTS

Coloring materials are generally classified into two groups: dyes and pigments. As you know, pigments are different from dyes. Pigments only color the surface of objects and do not dissolve in water, while dyes must be absorbed by the material to be dyed. Pigments are solid and come in various shapes and sizes. From a chemical perspective, they are divided into two groups: organic and mineral pigments. These two groups of organic and mineral pigments can be natural or synthetic (synthesized). Today, pigments are used in various industries, from coating the surfaces of metal and wooden objects to buildings and vehicles. By coating various surfaces with pigments, they can be protected against chemical compounds, moisture, and various weather conditions. Also, coloring objects makes them more beautiful.
